We are an assembly of Christians who meet to worship God in Holywell, North Wales. We are an independent evangelical church, which means we are not affiliated with any particular denomination or ruling body. We seek to preach all the truth God has revealed in the Bible.

What do we believe?

Our core message is the death and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ, and that men, women and children who trust in Him can have their sins forgiven and a real, wonderful relationship with God.

You can read a fuller description of what we believe, as well as download our Confession of Faith by visiting this page.

What is a Christian?

The Bible teaches that a Christian is someone who trusts and follows the Lord Jesus Christ. That means someone who has repented of their sins (breaking God’s Law) and who believes that the Lord Jesus died on the cross to take their place and the punishment they deserved in hell. Receiving Christ as one’s personal Saviour brings peace with God and a new life being lived to His glory. You can find out more here.

Who can come to the church?

We love to welcome visitors to the church, whether you’re visiting from another church, or whether you’ve never set foot inside a church in your life. If you think you’d like to start going to church, or if you’re interested in knowing more about being a Christian, we’d love to see you at one of our services. You can find the service times, and also details about our other meetings, on this page.
